Garments
Clothing has always held a special kind of memory for me. Unlike objects that sit still, these pieces were worn, lived in, and carried through specific moments in my life. Every crease, stain, or bit of fading comes from a day, an experience, or a version of myself that once existed.
Some of these garments remind me of the people who gifted them to me. Others bring back entire seasons of my life-late-night outings, hard weeks, comforting routines, or moments of change I didn’t realize were important at the time. Even something as simple as a hoodie or jacket becomes its own emotional timestamp.
This section of the archive is a way for me to preserve those memories without letting them disappear into the back of a closet. By documenting them, I can recognize the small but significant roles they played: how a shirt made me feel secure, how a jacket traveled with me everywhere, or how certain clothes became symbols of identity, comfort, or transition.
These pieces may seem ordinary on the surface, but each one holds a story worth keeping.
These clothings items are all things that I stole or was handed down to me by people that mean the most to me.
